Data acquisition system for light aircraft flight tests

Description
It is about a low cost flight test system, suited for light aircraft specifical needs. The system is based on a PIC microcontroller, capable of acquiring up to 32 channels with 12 bits resolution with 1.2 khz speed (per channel). The acquisition control, also the data storage are made by a PDA (Palm), wich provides portability and operation charachteristics that are suited for the use in light aircrafts, mainly monoplaces. The utilized sensors where developed from OEM sensors, wich decrease the system cost and allows the compatibilization of the light aircraft flight test needs with the scales, precision and the way of operation of each sensor.
